| Sunburn favourite and perennial beach bum, Norman Doray makes his return to the stages this December. Influenced by music whilst growing up and heavily inspired by the likes of Bob Sinclair and Daft Punk, Norman was quickly attracted to turntables and Djing. He started spining in 2002 in his hometown before earning a residency in 2u’003 at a club in Lille where he learnt his craft. Always spinning, always producing, Norman never stops. He’s just released a massive compilation with his sometimes partner in crime Arno Cost titled ‘Live & Direct’ and his new single “Tobita” is rocketing up the charts and was even Pete Tong’s essential tune of the week on BBC’s Radio 1. Joining Doray on stage is a secret guest DJ whose name even Norman is not willing to divulge at this point in time. All that he tells us, with a strongly accented flourish is “wait for Sunburn – it will be massive.” So be sure you’re in on the secret at Sunburn 2009. |
