| A resident of Submerge music, DJ Nawed has been dj-ing professionally for the past decade. He is a regular in clubs around India and Dubai and more recently he has performed in South Africa, Hong Kong, Kenya, Indonesia, and Bahrain. Nawed grew up listening to early house and pop music from the 80s. As dance music and the club scene exploded in Bombay in the mid 90s, Nawed was immediately drawn to the sound of Snap, Stereo MC's, Stonebridge, Robin S, Roger Sanchez, Todd Terry and Axwell among others, forming a bond with the bass line driven sound that has lasted with time.
