Goa is a tiny bejeweled land on the west coast of India. The 25th State in the Union of States of India, it was   liberated from Portuguese rule in 1961. Known as "Pearl of the Orient" or a "Tourist Paradise", the state of Goa is located on the western coast of India in the coastal belt known as Konkan. 

Goa comprises two Revenue district that being North and South Goa. Boundaries of Goa State are defined in the North by the Terekhol River, which separates it from Maharashtra, in the East and South by Karnataka State and West by Arabian Sea. Goa lies in Western Coast of India and is 594 Kms (by road) away from Mumbai city.

Goa is much more than just beaches and sea. It has a soul which goes deep into unique history, rich culture and some of the prettiest natural scenery that India has to offer.

Minimum temperature of about 15 degrees Celsius. (November to February)
